I'm glad it's tamed down, it was a bit wild when we were in college...by the time the kids came along, well, they got left with grandma, they've gone a couple of times now they're older, they've also gone to Waxahachie, it's always been more family friendly. You can tell they've worked hard to put some sanity back into it. I wonder how much money they were loosing in family business. But, the Festival has always had my heart...it was a special place when we were dating.

George R Brown and Texas Ren Fest
heading to Houston in a couple of weeks for the quilt festival (my husbands worst nightmare
) he'll actually come up later and we'll all go to the Ren Fest. wondering if we can carry to one or both? the 3006 website only mentions the Ren Fest as having a "no guns" sign but that was from Jan, so that might even be old info?
