If all I'm doing is walking around and standing, I could probably do it. It's when I have to get in and out of the car (convertible that sits real low) is when it becomes a big issue. But thankfully, I have other options.NiMexicatl wrote:I definitely get that it's not for everyone, but I think people qtend to jump to that conclusion a litte too quickly. I'm not a very big guy and I wear a lot of fitted clothing. I decided to go for it and I really didn't understand what the fuss was about. I really think the 90+% exemption is really the result of people believing they cant do it or do it comfortably. Sure some just can't realistically make it work, but some people just go into it with the wrong mentality.XinTX wrote:I realize it's not impossible to CC a P226. But 90 - 95% of us couldn't do so easily. Just trying to point out that you shouldn't overlook the P229. Same awesomeness is a smaller package.
Also the p229 is a good gun and you're right, it shouldn't be overlooked.
That said, the P226 is an excellent piece, as is the P229. Put an SRT kit in it (it's a simple job, and Top Gun Supply will usually have the bits) and it helps the reset. Several YouTube videos will walk you through it step by step. Some in so much detail they will cure even the worst insomnia.
