Agree this should have been stopped before it got started. Had 9 of the 16 voted to uphold the filibuster it would have died. And I see no 'compromise' anywhere in here. What does the 2A community get out of this other than one step closer to registration? This 'compromise' is akin to someone saying "I want to kill you", but you settle for letting them chain saw your legs off instead. IANAL, but I see nothing in here to prohibit a registry. Besides, the registration can be slipped into one line of some unrelated bill. Just like the Dems say that ObamaCare didn't create the 'death panels'. Technically, they're correct. The 'death panels' were created in the Stimulus bill, ObamaCare just made them permanent.
