Re: [Pre-paid legal service] and Pre-Paid Legal

I am a CHL instructor and I am also a [pre-paid legal] member. I decided to join [pre-paid legal] after seeing first hand how drawing your weapon can wreck your life financially. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I have called each of the attorneys and discussed in length CHL law and have had them field questions that have come up in my classes. Dave in customer service is top notch, and has been available anytime I have needed him. Missi (district manager) has been a pleasure to work with, and has a very upfront, straight forward approach to the class presentation. On average she spends less than 15 minutes addressing my class.

One one occassion I had a massive class, (too many to handle alone) and Mr. Walker (who is also a CHL instructor) volunteed (free of charge) to come up from Houston (to Dallas) and teach the legal portion (CHL Law and Deadly Force) and help me with the remainder of the class. He is a stand up kinda guy!

The way I look at it is like this: If I ever have to retain an attorney after a shooting, it will cost at least 6500-10000 just for a retainer. (thats on the cheap side) That same 6500 will pay for 50 years of total legal representation (criminal and civil) from [pre-paid legal].

I have talked to clients about the service they have recieved from [pre-paid legal] after use of their weapon. One just pulled his weapon, one had to fire his weapon. Both were completely satisfied and were thankful they had the program. (both were charged at the scene, and later charges were dropped)

To me it is worth not drinking Starbucks twice a month to afford the program.
