I'm sure the recovery rates for stolen property would support the belief that the property will not be recovered if not stopped at the time. Also, note that the requirement is (A) OR "(B) the use of force other than deadly force to protect or recover the land or property would expose the actor or another to a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury."
