Re: How do Americans feel about the State of the Union?
Amusing that we're now in the fifth year of Obama's term and "Blame Bush" is still prevalent. There's been more than enough time for appropriate "corrections" since Bush was in office. This administration is simply continuing with the 'bad agenda' laid out under Bush (think TSA, ...

Considering how police SHOT two people yesterday while they were in a vehicle that "looked" like the bad guy's truck... Might not be a bad idea. They are a bit trigger happy at the moment.

And don't forget the flip side of this occurrence... The guy you're facing turns away, calls the cops, "he pulled a gun on me", and the cops roll to a man-with-a-gun call...

Re: Danny Glover speaks at A & M
Danny needs to call up Mr Colin Noir and have a chat about gun control laws vs. race. Danny's just blowing smoke while waiting for his next shoot-out movie to start filming. Hypocrite.

Re: Apparently, concerned gun owners are all white racists..
The author was seemingly prescient, except for the fact that as far as we know , Adam Lanza's killing spree was not a manufactured event. Except for the reports of police searching the woods for a second shooter, the NBC reports that the Bushmaster was found in the trunk of the car... the kind of g...

Re: Looking for hog hunt
"No kill, no pay" pricing: $150.00 for hog up to 100lbs $75.00 for 2nd hog up to 100lbs $200.00 for any hog over 100lbs Those prices remind me of a coworker who took his young son to one of those catfish fishing ponds. The fish were something like $4/pound. Within 5 minutes, kid pulls in ...

Re: First Baptist Euless
Thanks guys. I don't live in the DFW area, I'm from Waco (hence the username), but was visiting HEB this week and had to go to the church. Was quite surprised and disappointed when I (barely) spotted that sign on my way out the door. My home church in Waco doesn't have a problem with concealed carry...

First Baptist Euless
Was pretty disappointed to see the 30.06 posting at FBC Euless on the Kids' entrance on the back side of the church... printed on the INSIDE of a dark tinted window, in letters about 5/8"-3/4" high, (definitely not 1" high), English only. I did not see it until I was walking OUT of th...

Re: More absurdity from Britain
What speaks volumes is that the squatters cover their faces so that they cannot be identified. My guess is that they owe back-taxes and other debts to society, or are wanted by what passes for "the law" there, and they don't want to get nabbed. It most certainly isn't because they are ash...

Re: New Employee Manual, Just like a opinion
I think this hangs on the question "authorized by who?". Authorized by the company / management? It's a company policy handbook after all. Or authorized by the state. My first thought / interpretation was for management authorization. Which in that case, if you're "unauthorized",...
