I had an opportunity to get a used Prius at too good a deal to pass up (especially considering my daily driver was a Blazer that gets 15 MPG on a good day). Well, I really couldn't pass on the Prius. But it is far from a vehicle I would ever choose for myself - before it was mine I called it a Pious... and I still do even to this day. I also call it The Smug-mobile, since a lot of folks who own one feel rather smug. (Me, I know darn well the environmental impact to manufacture it, as well as the ultimate disposal - not to mention there are other pure-gasoline cars that can get mileage just as good, but I digress.) Anyway, I can't be seen driving a Smug-mobile without at least attempting to show some of my personality. My attempt: the Life Member NRA license plate frame and the TSRA magnet sticker. At this rate, I figure I'll have everybody aiming to key my car.
Its funny you say you drive a prius, the other day I was talking to some friends of mine and was asked to describe Austin, the best I could come up with is its like "a Pruis with a gun rack" yeah we're a "bit" more liberal than the rest of the state but it is still Texas.
