I am the commander of our post. We made the decision simple. Gave up the beer license and made the place BYOB. When we work a rental a uniformed police officer is on site and my pistol remains concealed, although I believe I can carry openly being that I'm an elected official and the designee in charge of working that rental or event.

I'm not big on the idea of showing my enemy who they need to jump first.
