Re: ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules
This morning I read a Quora question and response that talks about this. The question respondent came up with some stuff I hadn't considered. Here's the question: "How many gun owners realize that the new ban on pistol braces will instantly make millions of law abiding gun owners felons, requir...

Re: Unfired 9mm for sale
Do you still have the Glock 48 package? If so, are you still interested in .22 rimfire trades? I've got a black and a silver set of Ruger Wranglers.

ID Requests from Law Enforcement
This may seem like a stupid question for some of y'all. Sorry bout that. Oh well though. It happens alot. Just ask any of my ex-wives....who all happen to live in Texas. So, my understanding back when I first went through my CHL training several years ago was that if we had been issued a CHL then if...

Re: Selling Several Guns
My first carry gun was a Ruger SR9C. I love that gun. Nice sweet trigger. More slender than a Glock 19 so it fits better on the hip. Works great too. I sold mine to acquire the aforementioned Glock. I'd love to replace it. Unfortunately I just purchased a different Ruger. A GP100 .357mag with a 4.2'...

Re: Tulsi Gabbard: Why I'm leaving the Democratic Party
"Until she completely repudiates her statement above she cannot be trusted on the 2nd Amendment." I don't know about you but, the above statement she made about the sanctity of the 2nd Amendment pretty much repudiates her earlier stance back in 2018. She actually slams Beto for what he sai...

Re: WTB / Ruger 10/22 for project
Ruger 10/22's are fun guns to mod out for sure. I remember being at the range one day and there was this guy next to me with a modded out 10/22. We got to talking and he told me that he had replaced the original barrel with a very accurate bull barrel, the stock was changed out. All the bolt parts w...

Re: Straw Man Query
I wanted to say thank you for all the responses. My course seems much clearer now. From the responses I can go two different routes. If the seller is willing to sell to me he can and I can then gift it to my friend. The only money to change hands would be from me to the seller. Or, I and the seller ...

Straw Man Query
As I understand it, the Straw Man law is where Person A gets Person B to purchase a firearm for them because Person A is no longer eligible to purchase a firearm. Then, Person B "sells" that firearm to Person A. Here's the situation. I've got a friend who is eligible to purchase a firearm....

WTS: PTR-91 TXR .308/7.62X51 - North Dallas Area
This a PTR-91 TXR. It is #0054 of only 600 produced and when it was first introduced, then Governor Rick Perry did the ribbon cutting. On the underside of the receiver is an etched outline of the state of Texas with a single Lone Star right about where the state capitol of Austin would be. Along one...

Re: Is This Sign Legal?
A couple of things to note. I've read where folks were speculating a sporting activity going on. Unless there's a new and recognized sport that includes robot battles and LEGO displays then there wasn't a true "sporting" activity going on that day. Not to mention that the ballroom on the f...

Well crud, I tried to upload the original and it told me it was too large. It's a 30.06 sign and a 30.07 sign as well.

Is This Sign Legal?
I was walking into the Irving Convention Center today for a gig and I saw this sign. I wasn't sure if it was legal or not. I mean, I've been there before to gun shows and there wasn't a sign there then. Clearly this is a portable sign. They were having some sort of LEGO/Robot Battle's going on there...
