I was meaning that I like to own excessive capacity mags because they have more bullets.
I have no desire to own anything other than 30 round mags for my AR and standard mags for my pistols. 15 rounds of 9mm being the most I have in a standard pistol magazine.

I don't like the bulk of stuff hanging out of the grip or the excess weight throws off balance.

I have some 5 round AICS mags for my Remington 700, but I'd really like to get a few 10 round mags too.
Now that's excessive, you only need 3 rounds to get a deer.

High or large capacity magazine means it holds a certain number but more than average, excessive capacity means it holds way more than you need.
