I've put a little over 600 rounds through my SR1911. Love it.

Mine has not had any failures to feed with any 230 grain FMJ loads. About 400 rounds. These were American Eagle, CCI Blazer, Winchester White Box, and Federal Champion.

No failures with 100 rounds each of 230 grain Federal HydraShok or 185 grain Remington Golden Saber. I've shot these one handed, two handed, weak handed, and strong handed. So these are what I carry in it, currently the HydraShoks.

It did have FTF with Winchester 230 grain Personal Protection and Winchester 230 grain Ranger JHPs.

I use Wilson 7 round 47D mags with Tripp Research followers, so can't say how the supplied Ruger mags work.

My front sight hasn't broken yet. Maybe a good batch.

A fine pistol at a reasonable price.

I carry mine often.
