Hi, All.
My name is Tex_Jonnie. My husband is a member of this forum as well. I am a 37 y.o. wife and a mother. I have a Bersa Thunder UC 9 mm and I hope to take my CHL class before the New Year. I grew up around fire arms but, until this year, I had only handled a gun once in 16 years; I am truly enjoying practicing with my 9 and spending time with my family at the range =) I am hoping that being a proficient handler will help my husband to worry less about me when we are apart. I have children that mean the world to me and I want to ensure their safety as well.
I hope to learn more about concealed carry and handling of my firearms through this board as well as legal issues re: firearm handling. I also hope to find other ladies on this board with which to chat about how to best carry, handle & conceal my firearms. It will be nice to have other ladies to share with.
Speaking of sharing with the ladies, I tried to post in the Ladies Only section but it would not allow me to post =( Oh, well! I am learning much from this forum... it can only get better when I'm able to fellowship with the ladies of this forum!
