I've also wondered the same thing when I go mountain biking. The only real trail here in Lubbock is in a not-so-good part of town, and the trail is somewhat isolated, traveling past areas with obvious past or current "gathering" activity. I've though about a fanny pack or a bag up front, because I really want the firearm where I can get to it in a pinch. An under-seat bag makes no tactical sense to me, and an IWB or other normal holster just won't work for me in off-road applications. I appreciate all the thoughts here.
