For stainless mags thats an ok price but why not just get pmags? If you like regular looking gi style mags than those will be nice. A little heavy in my opionion but not a deal breaker. I use ss mags for my hunting mags.

Re: Test Driving a S&W Airweight
Between the recoil and the heavy trigger-pull, the airweights are a challenge to shoot. Hopefully your able to put a couple-hundred rounds through it while you have it. Best of luck. Trigger pull can be adjusted with just 12.95 for a Wilson spring kit and a smithing stone you can get a really nice ...

Its a nice upper well worth paying a little more than other. 200 is just an ok price when they normally sell for 169 plus shipping on the net.

Re: Basic Defensive Pistol Training
Have you checked NRA site. Seems like I remember them offering a course like this. :txflag: They have a few courses called personal protection inside the home, personal protection outside the home and defensive pistol. Go here to find a course near you http://www.nrainstructors.org/searchcourse.asp...

Re: Mid-Length Gas System?
Most people perceive them to have less recoil. I can't tell a difference. I like the longer handgaurds though.

I used the bottom link just now and received confirmation of my renewal for lifetime member at $300. Thanks I was worried that I missed the boat on that one.

30 dollars will buy you a wood stock take off. Most of the ones Ive seen have been brand new. Good luck on finding extra mags for it if you do buy one. I bought a takedown 2 mths ago and barely got a spare mag used at a gun show and I had to dig a bin to find it. You can find clear ones easily enoug...

I'd get the stag model 1 over the dpms. Both are overpriced but that's pretty much the way things are right now.

Re: Don't Quit The Board!
I'm going to be somewhat of a devils advocate but I can understand the way those that have left feel. Talk about killing peace officers confiscating firearms and revolution are the exact extremist views the anti's want to see so they can prove gun owners are unstable. I believe that kind of talk is ...

Re: AR15 Uppers
You need a receiver block, barrel wrench and torque wrench. It takes about 10-30 min to put it together if you are using a barrel that already has a pinned fsb or if you are using a screw on gas block. If you have to drill and ream the barrel to pin on a gas block then it gets more complicated. Sputz
