Or maybe he is a "Black Caucasian". After all, in the Martin case the Dad's race (white) is used before the Mom's race (hispanic). This is all so confusing! Maybe the nice folks at MSNBC can clarify this latest term for the PC labeling of race.
For full disclosure, my dad is of Spanish heritage, but he was born in the US (his father immigrated from Spain); and my Mom is Irish. I think that makes me a "Hispanic Irish" man, or maybe I can use the more generic "white" term for my Irish heritage, which would make me a "Hispanic White" man. I guess I am the opposite of Mr Zimmerman, kind of.
I wouldn't want to be the Republican candidate that refers to Obama as a "White Negro"!
It is well known that any mention of race is only acceptable if it used to advance a liberal agenda. Otherwise any such reference should be classified as a racist statement.
