To answer the original question, my SD ammo is:
9 MM - 147 grain Ranger SXT
45 Cal - 230 grain WWB JHP
380 - FMJ ammo (no specific type). I prefer FMJ in 380.
I have Hydra-Shock Two ammo on back order and will move to that in 9MM and 45 Cal as soon as it comes in.

I use Glocks for my primary SD weapons. I'm not familiar with the concept of a failure in these weapons, at least not through the first 3,000 rounds. Let me try another 10,000 rounds of whatever I can think of to shoot through it, and I'll see if I can experience this "failure" thingy. Maybe if I load up some gravel.bnc wrote:I agree with kraglover that the name brand US made ammo is all pretty good, so get what you like.
Here's a different question though:
What failure rate and how many rounds of a particular SD ammo do you shoot before you trust it?
