Just found out the old man was arrested today.

Update,

Just called the investigator for this case, and it has been placed on the back burner, due to the weather situation, which I totally understand.
He did say it was being investigated as a "terroristic threat".

The old mans nephew is a good ol boy. We talked about an hour Sunday and came up with the idea of getting everyone together on the same page, so to speak.

I really do try not to be confrontational, especially around the home front area. And yeah, the old bird is a little off. But that runs in the family evidently. I've been getting alot of the history of his family in the last couple of days.
As far as kids/family goes, most of them are of the same mind set, and the ones that aren't, he aint going to listen to. A clan type mentality.
I also found out this makes the third time he has threatened to shoot someone out here over perceived right of way and property line intrusions.
Still waiting for a detective to call.
We, the president of the hoa, the owner of the land on which part of the easement is on, which is the old mans nephew, and the developer that bought the land, and myself, are arranging a get together to talk about the situation and get all the cards on the table, so hopefully there won't be any more misunderstandings.

This road is in Burnet Co., about 5 miles east of Briggs, and 5 miles west of the Burnet, Williamson, and Bell county lines junction.
Yall need to dig into the paperwork and find the "Grant of Easement" for your families land. Got one right in front of me right now as a matter of fact.

Was told that yesterday, while I was out working on our easement road, from an old man that was mad I was working on the road.
Sheriff came out and took a report after I said that I do want to press charges. Don't expect much to be done, but did want to start a paper trail.
