+1 on the reviews above. Huge crowd, long lines, good free food, nice people (except for one douchebag), lousy PA system, - I'm SURE Mark Fingar called out my number but I couldn't hear him - but at least I scored a limited-run 2010 LaRue Range Day t-shirt. 2 of them, actually. After standing in line about 2.5 hours. And I met 10Shooter! That was cool.

The new range looks like it will be great for next year's 3-gun, but with all that dust and gravel you know it's gonna be sizzling hot all day long . . .

Schedule is cleared at last! Feel free to say hello - I'm easy to spot and it's nice to put faces with names. I'll be hanging out with my brother and his family, and he'll be drooling over the guns - explaining at great length why they're so cool and why we need to buy them of course.

There's a link on the LaRue Tactical website - if you follow it you can RSVP online, or just call them. I believe this is the range that will be hosting the 3-gun event next spring that LaRue sponsors, so it'll be cool to get a preview of the layout. Although I thought this year's range was pretty dang awesome . . .

It's next Saturday, October 16th . . . at Liberty Hill. I'm trying to clear my schedule -- that barbecue is good!
