Well my shield was supposed to be factory new, but all the common wear spots are . . . worn. I'm going to go recheck that gunbroker.com ad.
Not one spot seems to indicate used or previously fired, says "brand new".

I picked up my Shield last night. It does not exhibit the problem, but man was it stiff. I could not for the life of me lock that slide back. It has to slide a loooong way back to lock. Tonight I'll clean it & range time tomorrow.

Looking around on 2 M&P specific forums, they talk about if the lower half of your trigger isn't spring operated, then you have the issue.

I have a Shield arriving at my FFL tomorrow evening. Is he going to keep me from obtaining it? Or is that already too late in the process for the sale to be stopped? UPS has it.
