I wanted to remove the grenade launcher, change the stock, and use hi-cap mags. It is already complete and has exactly 10 of the twenty foreign parts. I will try to find a pic...

I guess when I do carry the rifle to the range, I will also have my receipts for my US parts and a copy of the "10 or less parts" laws just to play it safe. I can't possibly expect local law enforcement to know every letter of the law, and I have a feeling that if they saw the rifle, most ...

Carrying rifle in a vehicle

What laws are in effect regarding carrying a rifle in a personal vehicle in Texas? The rifle I am speaking of is a Yugo SKS which has been modified with US parts to have exactly 10 foreign parts. Do I have to have the ammo separate from the rifle or anything? Thanks for your assistance. Just want to...

I have a millennium pro pt145. 10+1 and it feels GOOD in my hand. Points naturally, accurate, no problems as of 500 +/- rounds, and economic ($325 out the door!). I would definitely recommend it. 325 out the door, where, the cheapest i found was 359 before ttl. Glad to hear you have something that ...

The Airport Convention Center show is generally pretty good, as is the Alzafar show. I think it would be worth the 1 hour drive for either. I saw 8-10 Kel-Tecs last time I went. You should be able to get one at or around that price. I was thinking about going to that show also, but my wallet keeps t...

Taurus Millenium Pro PT-145 or Kahr 45 would be your best bet for a small 45! For sure. The Taurus is what I went with and fell in love with it. Still testing reliability, so far no problems (knock on wood). Recoil is easily managed. The newest model comes with an SA trigger that reverts to DA if t...

Just got back from the range with it. Put 150 rounds of UMC 230gr. JHP's and 20 rounds of Federal Premium Low Recoil 185gr. Hydra-shok's through it without a hitch. Several casings flew up and hit me in the head, but other than that, it was great. Shooting slowly and carefully at about 10 yards, I c...

Yeah, I got my license over a week ago, and it STILL says processing application. My best advice, read through the threads here on this forum. There is ALOT of great information here. Plan on waiting around 60 days if there are no hiccups with your application.
