Pretty much none, so it's definitely trivial. Hospitals can afford security escorts and they DO offer escorts if a patient or employee asks.
I'm not saying a parking lot is safe, but the services a hospital offers to employees and patients are different from, say, Wal-mart.
My wife works at a hospital and has for over twenty years. I will state that you made two very uninformed statements.
At most hospitals, other than those with trauma centers, the police/security presence is nearly zero. And what "security" there is is nearly useless. All they can do is dial 911.
