Unfortunately, I would not be at all surprised. Very sad, indeed.
Roughly twenty years ago my brother was a HS basketball coach. 4 of his first string players got nabbed for burglary. They got no sympathy from him and were immediately tossed off the team. He still took the remainder of his team to the state playoffs.
