Charles L. Cotton wrote: I agree. When the Texas CHL bill passed in 1995 (SB60), two of the strongest opponents publicly admitted their opposition was unfounded. One, former Harris County DA John B. At this point, I have to take Dr. Holda at his word . . . while remaining vigilant of course. :biggrinjester:

I knew Johnny and Ted Poe also when he was an ADA. I didn't know Johnny felt that way about CC back then. Surprise me

Re: Kilgore College Pres claims casualties at Luby's due to

It seems that Mr. Holda (I refuse to call an Ed D doctor, even Bill Cosby, whom I respect) has changed his email address from what is listed on the college website. I would surmise he was getting too many unkind emails for such an gentle soul (idiot) to handle. :mad5

It seems that we may have over reacted to Mr. Holda's statements. It has been reported on this site that both he and his wife are taking a class preparatory to possibly becoming CHL holders.

If this is reported correctly, Mr. Holda has my respect, and my apology for the word in parentheses above, for letting go of beliefs based on fallacies. Few people can do so in such a short time frame. :coolgleamA:
