I tend not paste bumper stickers on my truck, or wear shirts, that indicate I have a gun -- I would like it to be a surprise to anyone wishing me harm -- but there is room for bolder statements, particularly in the right settings.

References to Massad Ayoob don't count. He comes from a jurisdiction that might as well be on a separate planet, tends to make his writing a bit gloomy at times.
