Who said, in USA we do adore our GUNS?
I thought US defeated and destroyed Germany in WW2.
I thought that USA is the most advanced country in the world.
I thought that USA has the highest numbers of firearms in the hands of civillians?
I thought that we have highest numbers of millionaires and billionaires in the world?

If such range do exist in Germany (where owning firearms is legal but controlled, like in Canada) but not is US. I would say we are bankrupt country! :mad5
Hold on there...In Germany the shooting sports are pretty much reserved for a minority of upper class elites. This is because it is so cost prohibitive that they are the only ones who can afford it. Its alot like the British aristocracy playing around on their manors and what not. Germany also is forced to build ranges like this because there is nowhere to set up a proper outdoor range in densely packed europe. The money issue is the same situation that the Dems and especially Pharaoh Rahm in Chicago are trying to create here in the U.S. by making it too expensive for the unwashed masses to participate. Since they are having a tough time outright banning guns they are instead trying to price them out of existence.

A range like the one in Germany (I doubt there is more than a handful in the whole country) would never work in Texas. The range fees would be astronomical and it certainly would be private. I think a range like that would do very well in a place like Vail or Aspen where you could attract very well heeled shooters who will pay top dollar to not rub elbows with us commoners at a dirty ole public range.

As for the other points you made...yes we destroyed them and then like good capitalists made a mint rebuilding them and being good people allowed them to be a free nation. Yes we are the most advanced country in the world but we've rested on our laurels and are being overtaken rather quickly. Don't forget about Switzerland, Yemen, India, and a few others I can't recall when it comes to love of guns. I don't get where you could say we are bankrupt because not many of us could afford to shoot at or build a range like that. Thats like saying we are all poor because most of us can't afford a Ferrari.

Re: New $9 million gun range coming to Frisco, Texas

I keep dreaming of opening a place like this range in Germany. I really doubt this would work as a public range though.
