As much as I wish we could have minimum standards for politicians (and voters), I keep coming back to wondering where I get off telling people who they can or can't vote for, or whether they're informed enough for their opinion to matter. I mean, we keep bashing liberals for being control freaks, but isn't telling someone that Joe-Bob isn't smart enough to represent them the same thing? Much like a free market risks having price gougers, dumb politicians and uninformed voters are just some of the risks you take when you're committed to freedom.
