Next time you talk to your BIL, you might mention how blessed you are to get a new job so quickly after falling victim to the last round of layoffs. Would it be too paranoid to change license plates on your car(s)? The few times I've tried to track somebody down, I've been very insistent on not crossing the "creepy" line. So while I know that finding someone can be done, I don't know how to do it.
