Re: Post Office Law Suit to Repeal Carry Rule

Whether it's "or" or "and" misses the point. If you hang your hat on that semantic minutia, it's easy enough for legislators to "correct" the verbiage later to remove what should be a right to carry. The point is "shall not be infringed" has no grayness at all.

Re: Ex DPS TRP Perez charged

How can I go about learning of any past potential misconduct of an LEO? I know of an LEO in a small Texas town that has been to 3-4 different PDs in his short career and have heard there were disciplinary issues.

Re: Funny for all you LEOs

I hope at some point he realized the error of his ways. It's doubtful. My theory is it's often a wiring issue. Some people are drawn to the emergency trades, not because they have a desire to help, but because they have a desire for the rush. I think every US police officer should have to spend a 6...

Re: Funny for all you LEOs

It may seem trivial to some but not to me. LEOs need to be observing the law more than the average joe does. It's kind of like when Michael Vick whines that he never asked to be a role model - you are one like it or not, you migh try acting the part. I can't count the times I've followed a cop who r...

CHL Legal Questions

1. My CCL plastic arrived several months ago. While buying a gun today the dealer pointed out the my plastic has a misspelling on my address - actually it has a "S" for south, when it should have a "W" for west. Is this somethign to ignore? If not, is the DPS likely to ask me to ...

Re: How/When to correct an instructor

My thought is to suggest that you should ask the instructor to refamiliarize himself with the rules as he has some important ones wrong.

What we don't need is to hand ammo to the anti-CHL crowd because some Rambo nut like that guy shoots someone in a Walmart parking lot for all the wrong reasons.

I get extra long tailed t-shirts from Duluth Trading. That way you get the length you need without extra width.

Re: Past Incident at Car Wash

McKnife, I'm in the car wash business in West Texas. You can help your odds by using car washes that have obvious security cameras. Mine has 14 and I've never had an incident or even vandalism...the bad guys look for cameras and move on when they find them. Btw, car wash ownrs like it when you wash ...
