Not necessarily wrong about Hasan. Hasan may have been registered to vote in another state. He was active duty military, not required to register in the state where he was assigned. I was a PA resident for 8 years while on active duty. Lived in FL, CA, MD, FL. Voted by PA absentee ballot the whole time. So, if he was wrong on 2 out of 4 states not requiring declarations of party affiliation, How could he be trusted to have examined the private and confidential membership rolls of the NRA to determine that none of the people in question had been members? Apparently some of you hold him to a lower standard. Sad.
