I shoot my K40 better than I do 9mm or .45. Now that could have something to do with how well the gun fits my hand and the fact that it's been my primary HD and carry gun since 1996. I've owned and shot .380, 9mm, .357mag, 10mm and .45's, but I really fail to see why so many people think the .40 is so unpleasant to shoot. The reason I chose my Kahr was because of how well it fit my hand and how naturally it points. I went with .40 rather than 9mm because I got (IMO) a more effective round, and only sacrificed 1 round of capacity versus the K9.
