I noticed our 4th best president yesterday announced in front of the UAW audience that he was going to offer $10,000 instant federal tax credits for anyone buying Chevy Volts. By "instant", I mean you get the $10 grand right away -- you don't need to wait until you file your taxes.

They average income of a Chevy Volt buyer is $170,000 a year. These are high income families buying it as a second or third car as a "greenie" status symbol.

So we are piling up trillions in debt every year that our children and grandchildren will have to repay. Their futures are so over-mortgaged they will never have the same opportunities that used to be taken for granted in this country. Why should my children be in debt to pay for 3rd cars for "rich people"?

I understand your point and agree with you. But that Zero in the White House is one thinking one thing: the Civil Rights Act.

In a 60 minutes interview Barack informs us that he's the 4th best president ever, with only Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln doing a better job just in terms of what he's gotten done in modern history.

It's nice that he's so humble.
