Bingo.

'86 has artificially inflated US auto prices.
Not only are prices artificially high, but if they ever did re-open the registry, there are a lot of guns that people have paid $10-15k for that would suddenly plummet in value.

Ironically, the people with the most vested interest in keeping the laws unchanged are the ones with the biggest investment in FA NFA guns.

Actually, I'd grin at shooting any or all of the one mentioned. Full auto? Whats not to like?
