Re: Interstate Firearm Shipping ??
So Hotel doesn’t want to ship it directly to my local FFL because the gun is loaded and they don’t want the liability of unloading it. But they are willing to drop the gun off to a local FFL in Baton Rouge to let the FFL unload it and ship it. So I think this is going to work. Just have to have con...

Been so long since I have shipped anything, I forget the FFL rules for the hotel ship me my firearm. Can they ship it directly to my local FFL, or do I need to find an FFL in ...

Re: Shots fired at Woodlands Academy Parking Lot
You only partially quoted 9.43. You did not quote para (1) which is on point: (1) the actor reasonably believes the unlawful interference constitutes attempted or consummated theft of or criminal mischief to the tangible, movable property; or No third party permission is required. I am not saying sh...

I really hope that it comes out that the LTC holder had a legit reason to fear for his, or other's safety. Irresponsible decisions are something the other side would love to be able to lob at us...and absent an obvious and legitimate threat, this can be nothing but a bad choice. RE: " a legit ...

Re: How to Get A CHL For Non-Immigrant Aliens & Foreigners
A minor clarification here, the actual language is "knowing or having reasonable cause to believe" . If I demonstrate due diligence when selling a firearm to another person by asking them if they are in any way disqualified from purchasing a firearm, and they lie to me, then I have no rea...

Suing the motel is stupid as can be. How is the business owner responsible for the criminal acts of thugs? That makes as much sense as suing a Macy's because you get robbed walking in from the parking lot.

Re: Out of State/Non-Resident CHL for expanded reciprocity
I've also got Ohio, Utah, and Pennsylvania licenses in addition to my Texas license. My Ohio license gets me reciprocity in MN, WA, and NV. My PA license adds Maine. The Utah license adds WA. I've got a sister who lives in in MN, so that has potential value if I ever visit, and it is always good to ...

Re: Texas Hunting Regulation Question
Hunting hogs as meat and sport do require a hunting license, noted above.
However, the main hunting regulations overview page of the TX website states that no hunting license is required for nuisance fur bearing animals, depredating hogs or coyotes.

Texas Hunting Regulation Question
I am not really familiar with Texas hunting regulations, hence asking for your expertise. I know a young (adult) man who has been invited by his friend to hunt feral pigs, poisonous snakes, and "other pests" on his friend's Dad's land. Questions: 1. Is a hunting license required for a gues...

So does this mean you now have to give your bound book to the ATF? They will now have a record of all your Form 4473's?
