I carried a G30sf for about a year. I love the gun. Great running gun. Feels great. Runs great. But I tried every holster on the planet to conceal it comfortably and all failed. I carried in a supertuck for a good while. Winter time you can hide it ok but summer forget it. If you want a glock maybe look at a 36

I recently picked up a Kahr 45. it is nice and skinny and just smaller than a Kimber Ultra carry 2 (just a lot thinner than one) and it carries much easier. It also uses 1911 officer mags. Not trying to sell you on that. Just saying. If you like springfields the XDs is a good size too. It is actually almost exactly the same size as the kahr except the kahr grip has room for a third finger.

The G30 is just really thick and very heavy when loaded. YMMV.
