Recently moved to another state, but still get mail at texas
I live in Texarkana, which is a "twin city" bordering on Texas and Arkansas. I recently moved from the Texas side to a loft on the Arkansas side. My mom owns the property I used to live in, and now my grandparents live there and I still get mail there and stuff. I have an arkansas drivers ...

Re: Stupid, Inexperienced Long-gun-Guy Question
that is a long gun for a sling. unless you plan to walk around the woods with it or shoot a lot at the range... I would put that money toward an AK :)

Re: HGTV: Use an American flag as a tablecloth!
That made me tear up a little. This is the United States that our children will grow up in. Not the proud nation that our grandfathers spilled blood to forge. I am sure it was done without thought, but that is far from making it right. They might as well use the bible to balance a wobbling chair leg...

Re: YOU SHOULD CARRY A POCKET GUN !!
i feel safer with even my 32 auto in the pocket. I would rather carry a .45 and sometimes I do, but more often than not lately it has been a p238 in a crossbreed and a pocket 32. both are comfortable to me.

Re: D.I. versus Piston AR
IMHO the AR/m16 design is not meant to have a piston and it causes more issues than it solves. I had a barret rec7 in 6.8 that couldn't shoot 4 rounds in a row without problems after me and barret both working on it for months. Then again I could care less about a gun that wasn't designed by hk or K...

Re: can you carry a NFA firearm with a CHL in TX?
so if I can carry my mp5k with just my stamps why did I even get a chl? I shoulda saved that cash toward the operational briefcase. I was thinking of snagging a micro can for my beretta .22 and maybe carrying it some. Couple days ago I was sitting on the back porch and a wild cat slaughtered a squir...

can you carry a NFA firearm with a CHL in TX?
So lets say I wanted to carry a pen gun (AOW) or a suppressor for some reason. Is this legal? I understand I cannot carry a SBR or SBS or anything of that nature. Just wondering how to find out whats legal?

Re: MN video: LEO's incomplete patdown didn't find the .38!
I accidentally stumbled upon the Alfonso video recently. Both of these cases are stark reminders for LEOs, I'm sure. One thing about the Alfonso video though: With a .45 at point blank range, I was astonished that it wasn't even more graphic due to an exit wound on the other side. I think it is lik...

Re: MN video: LEO's incomplete patdown didn't find the .38!
sorry if I upset anyone with that post. I really had no idea that video was all over the internet like that. The one I saw was in a training vid. That video is NSFW (at least at my work) and is super graphic. I wasn't recommending anyone watch it. I agree with the joker. It is so ez to miss somethin...

Re: MN video: LEO's incomplete patdown didn't find the .38!
I saw a training video where they did not shake down a suspect that shot a cop in kali. He was in interview, cop steps out. BG puts the cap back on the water he was drinking, pulled a full sized 1911 from his pants and vacated his head a bit. I have to wonder how many cops touched that guy from the ...
