thanks everyone for the responses. i have been invited to a pheasant hunt in december so i would love to have it up and running.

guess i posted this in the wrong spot.

I have a remington 1100 12 ga. than i have hunted with for the last 14 years. when i took it out this year i cleaned it up and tried to shoot it. it would click and not even dent the primer. i took it apart and cleaned again and found that if i loosen the cap on the magazine tube and slip the barrel out about 1/8" the firing pin will work. if i seat the barrel all the way and tighten the cap, i can't pull the trigger at all. is it possible my headspace is out of whack?
