I am a frequent Gym user in the Austin area. My gym (not gonna mention name here in case they decide to mimic Lifetime Fitness) has no signs or any kind. I often go at 4 am and WILL NOT go unless I am carrying. I think it may be time for you to switch gyms. Drive around Austin a bit and you will see that a large gym chain has no signage.
