While I am too old to be stomping around in the bush and will not be joining a Militia, I can offer some advice.
Get to know your like minded Neighbors, and accumulate like minded friends. Keep your group small. 4-8 people
Stay off Facebook, and these big Militia websites. They will be taken down first.Too many infiltrators & quislings.
Use everyone's skills, scrounger, medic, etc.
emails, cellphone, Internet posts can all be intercepted. Develop a code system to communicate.
Read all you can on how to conduct a gorilla operation.

Re: The Next American Civil War

I would hope that Any Bill that passes and is signed or any Executive Order would immediately be challenged in the courts, by the NRA and others, all the way to the Supremes with injunctions to prevent it from becoming law before it is reviewed. This could take a year or more to get thru the system. The current court has a pretty good record on 2A, however, if Obama gets to appoint two liberal judges before they rule all bets are off.
We need to follow the process carefully before acting, contacting our Congress and our State Leaders to make sure they tow the line on 2A.

Re: The Next American Civil War

When the gov't starts killing gun owners, the story will be that they were dangerous terrorists or lunatics with a gun, that were about to cause mayhem, and he was killed when the police went to arrest/stop him -- probably by his own hand.
I know that will be how the State Controlled Media will play it but by then the real story will get out!

A little spat called the American Revolution is perhaps one small example of some that did.
No offense, we have lost that spirit a LONG time ago. Nowadays, people only care iPhones, football and Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction while enthusiastically giving up their own rights.
No offense taken but I think you are overlooking all the vets just getting out of two wars. Your 2% number would equate to about 2,000,000 gun owners and about 6,000,000 guns.
One incident of the govt killing several gun owners would end up being a rallying cry for several million more "Rebels".
I think you and many others underestimate the American Spirit!
Btw I sold all my guns to PP's and darn I forgot to get their name and so forth. :patriot:
