Re: Why carry a .40 or.45

The .46 joke is funny. Thanks for the replies. I do feel comfortable with the 9 and have been shooting a Sig 2022 for a couple of years. Thats why I decided on the P9 for my carry piece. I agree that practice is what its all about and that is another reason I like the 9. With three kids I get ...

Why carry a .40 or.45

Road Trip Advice

I am drving from Austin to Houston this weekend and have some time to spare. Are there any gun stores that you would recommend hitting on 290? Are there any gun shows in north/west Houston area. Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Suggestions for a portly man

The guys at the gun shop and additional research have made me reconsider. I'm now leaning towards a Kahr P haven't settled on the 9 or the 40 yet. It is pretty thin but I really like the way it feels in my hand. It really seemed to fit. I'll keep everyone posted.

Re: Suggestions for a portly man

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Y'all have me rethinking my subcompact decision. It sounds like a lot of you carry a full size weapon without and issues. I was planning on the sub mainly for ease of concealment. I am leaning towards trying the supertuck. Thanks again and I will post up some picutr...
