It's a Desert Eagle 1911G made by Magnum Research, wearing desert tan Nighthawk G10 Golfball grips. The flashlight is a Fenix TK12. Not top of the line stuff, but decent for a college student's budget.

Re: Is Their 51% Sign Legit?

That is true.

If my first post is correct about the bar being a separate entity renting from the center though, the 51% sign should only be at the bar area of the center. I've seen this many times at bowling alleys and the like.

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings in Tomball

I think most of the wings places make their money from Alcohol sales so should have a 51% sign. You're only seeing the Nighttime Activities. Myself, and Lots of other people hit them up for lunch or early afternoon food. I can tell you, that the lunchtime rush, in which the place is pretty packed, ...

School doesn't only mean middle or high school. University or community college teams too.

Re: Is Their 51% Sign Legit?

My husband and I are starting our own business and are renting an office from a local business. It is a sporting events center, but is used daily by teams using the area for practice. This includes cheerleading, wrestling, etc. They have fight nights on occasion as well. It is posted with 51%, and ...

Found a 30.06 Sign at the Edwards Marq*E in Houston

I was looking at all the text they had taped to the glass on the windows of the movie theater the other day and found the text for a 30.06 sign. Only thing is, the text was only about a quarter of an inch tall. It's white text directly on the glass of the main entrance to the theater. I'll go back a...

Re: What to do if you are "made"?

People can assume that "bump" on your hip is anything. I wouldn't worry about that. If your gun is exposed, then: if you get made, act natural like carrying a gun IS natural and go about your business. if you freak....they freak. This. You can only exacerbate the situation if you act like ...

Re: You were carrying?!

You know you're doing it right when you can pass the "wife test". :thumbs2: Sometimes my wife still gets surprised when she hugs me and her hand rests directly on my sidearm. She usually just says "oh". ;-) This is perhaps the ultimate test of how well you can conceal carry. If ...

caught twice in a day

I was at a semi-formal family event, and dressed for the occasion. Slacks, button-up shirt, etc. I was wearing my m&p 40c IWB in a Comp-Tac Minotaur tucked at about 5:00 and I had made it through most of the day when my uncle taps me on the shoulder and quietly asks me, "Hey Dave, are you.....

Re: CHL shows up in background check

It puzzles me that people would use CHL status to discriminate against someone. Doesn't it mean that the licensee already passed perhaps the most strenuous background check possible?

Wrong middle name

I received my CHL about a month back and recently when I was rearranging things in my wallet, I noticed that they misspelled my middle name on my CHL. So I called them this morning and they are going to fix it and send me a replacement license, and they requested for me to send back the old license ...

Re: 1 month 5 days not bad.....

Pretty good turnaround. Congratulations. Once upon a time it was taking up to 3, 4, 5, and even 6 months for some folks to get their licenses. As you may imagine, after the third month most of us were getting a little flustered. i had a few buddies for whom it took 9 months. they had comple...
