As I recall, you have to send them a certified letter, then wait for a response. Then file a complaint to the AG who gives them 3 days (?) to remove the signs. That's when the clock starts.
By the time they get your certified letter, the event is over, the signs are gone. The city says. "Objection noted, signs were immediately removed. Sorry"

I wonder how one can deal with such short-term events. By the time you give notice the festival is over. What's to keep them from doing it every year knowing the statute is not written to address a 3-day event?

Good article, Charles. This legislation needs to pass. The signage issue has been one of my hot buttons for tool long, it needs to be stopped, emphatically.
