Cruz for me. He's a fighter, and the Tea Party candidate. And for me, a Palin endorsement carries some weight. Her people vet their candidates well before she lends he endorsement, and she has a good record for picking winners.
Dewhurst has a very mixed record. He's been in Austin too long.
Leppert is too moderate. And he left Dallas with a corrupt mayor to finish his term. He had an opportunity to fix that, but it would have cost him votes in his next race, which is this one. He made the political choice over the moral choice.
