But basically, she spends her money on clothes and cars, and I spend mine on toys - firearms, machine tools, and the occasional interesting car.
I do get an eyeroll on occasion, and she said once that maybe I was being a bit paranoid.
So I be sure she knows about all the assaults in places we frequent, and the reports where having a gun saved a life.
There have been a number of occasions when we were getting out at a restaurant in an iffy part of town,that she would ask
"Got your gun?"
"Yes, always"
