Let her pick

Right after I met my wife-2-b about 12 years ago, we went to a gun show. I found a ruger P89DC I liked, my first centerfire handgun. She wandered off to find something for herself. Came back with a mint Colt Agent, a steel .38 snubby, mint condition, ex-FBI desk gun. She still likes it, but it hurts my hand to shoot it.
Agree with the above, let her pick one out at a gun show, then shoot a rental or 2 if possible.
