I must admit though, my sense of humor has changed over the years. Back in the early '80s I was stopped in Bellaire for "driving while Mexican" or, more appropriately, having a full, long head of black hair while driving driving my Dad's midlife crisis Mustang down Chimney Rock (I am not Latina, but could pass for one until the moment I open my mouth). I was never given a reason for the stop, fully checked for insurance & etc, admonished to watch out, because they "keep an eye on" people driving through their fair city. I probably wouldn't have thought this was so funny back then.
