The positives:
Very fast sight acquisition when used at close quarter combat distances. Just"dot the i" and you're on target.

The negatives:
May not be the best for long range or target shooting due to the size of the front sight, although there is a video going around the internet of an instructor making accurate 100 yard shots with XS sights.

They are also among the most expensive night sights on the market. They can be found online, however for abut $100 if you shop carefully.

I have had a set on a Springfield XD for about a year now. They work great with my 56 year old eyes. I plan on having a set installed on my 1911 in the very near future.
