I have one that I use for a range mag for my Springfield XD's that has been 100% reliable.

On the other hand, I had one for a Ruger P89 that I used to own that was completely useless. Seems it was slightly longer than the Ruger factory mags and would lock the slide open with any pressure at all on the baseplate.

It ended up in the trashcan at the range.

As others have said, stick to factory mags for everyday carry.
