Animal attacks are very relevant as well. Data that the CDC collected in the USA between 2001 and 2003 indicated there were 4.5 million dog bite victims per year, but that figure appears to be rising.

Not in the last year, but I have had a DGU before. That doesn't count OC spray or hand-to-hand

Its funny that any back of the envelop threat assessment will show that the most common threat as actually an animal attack and banning firearms actually puts humans at a disadvantage no matter what the law says, because animals do not obey human laws.

Its sad that people out their are so gullible as to fall for being conned out of their God-given rights.
