Dry firing at the TV

Finally tried this out.

Took the appropriate precautions.... backstop was an external wall... checked to see the gun was empty, made sure all my ammo was put up in another room, racked the slide 3 times to double check the gun was empty. Checked again after every time I put down the gun.

Was looking thru the TV lineup and didn't see any shows I thought were particularly good... so I broke out some DVD's that I thought would work. Dirty Harry/Sudden Impact... The scene where a bunch of thugs were robbing the diner worked pretty well. Had to ID bad guys from good guys... got practice spotting weapons, had to keep from shooting hostages.

Then I tried out Scarface... Wow, plenty of bad guy targets there.

Got some decent practice. Not quite as good as F.A.T.S.(Fire Arms Training System), but dirt cheap and kinda fun.
