He saw the commotion outside and went out the backdoors...ran into four or 5 little anteeefa shrimps all kitted out in black, face coverings etc (5'4" 105 lbs each to quote him :biggrinjester: )...he said he saw one of them hiding in the bushes - told the little punk that doing that was a REALLY good way to get shot...he and fellow tenants will be discussing this situation with the landlord... :tiphat:

So, explain to me why HE received that treatment, but why those armed leftwingers were not at least contacted by the police there. Does that little show on the sidewalk not rise to meet TPC 42.01 (a)(8), "displays a firearm or other deadly weapon in a public place in a manner calculated to alarm;"? Seems like Roanoke PD could have done a better job.

EDITED TO ADD: I contacted Roanoke PD to ask about this. I highly doubt I will get a message back, but if I do, I will share the gist of it here.
Thanks for doing that!

Sec. 1702.323 indicates that "An individual described by Subsection (a) who carries a firearm in the course of employment must obtain a private security officer commission under this chapter."

That alone would appear to be a legal violation, unless they have a Level III security license.
Were they being compensated? If not, It would be hard to argue that they were carrying in course of employment. I honestly don't really care about antifa carrying. They have a right to carry as long as they don't break any other laws. I have an issue with the venue inviting children to this event.
There are very good reasons why security guards are required to have training, and armed security guards are required to have even more training. Even then experience shows as a group security officers are far from perfect.

Re: Armed Antifa at Roanoke’s drag show

website states that it is a bar with on premises consumption:
Stop by our Roanoke bar for a tasting and raise a glass with us
It also indicates "metroportchamber" (Roanoke chamber of commerce?) supported the drinking establishment. Tax dollars at work??? Somebody has some explaining to do

Re: Armed Antifa at Roanoke’s drag show

Some additional info including poor quality photos of "sniper".

I didn't realize that in Roanoke bars allowed Pistols and Rifles... but I guess this is clown world. Where is CPS when you need it?
